CNY 2007

CNY for 2007 was so so mainly because there's nothing much to do, i think its almost the same every year, its a vicious cycle of gambling, visiting and drinking. I dont really enjoy gambling, I dont drink alot and i shun visiting. The only thing I enjoy about CNY is reunion with family and friends. Unfortunately, most of my friends and myself included do not work in kuching, thus the only time we get to meet is CNY, and sure enough, when we meet, there's alot of stories to catch up, e.g ah liam's adventure in sabah, ah tin's ghost encounter in palm oil estate.

This year for the 1st time, my family hired lion dance to our house.

Cris family also have lion dance this year, except his is not a lion and it does not dance. It barks, and jumps, and i am scared of it. Presenting cris' new dog, tera, tara or something like that. cant remember names.

CNY is the time where many shops dont open for business and we have problem finding food besides people's home. Eating out is a no no, cause if its open, its expensive. Gotta give it to them, cny also open their stalls, expensive also no choice. On the 1st day of CNY, we all die die also want to go out for dinner because INDON pau is leaving for INDON on 2nd day, dahla he already got married, so have to go wife's family's place.

Now that cny is over, I have nothing to look foward to anymore, am back in penang now, waiting for the next cny reunion, but a friend is getting married end of this year, will be back to kuching again then. well at least have that to look foward to.
